Let me begin by just saying, I’ve been craving fajitas for some time now, but I am too cheap to go out to eat! Ha-Ha! 🙂 Nonetheless, home cooked meals always melt my heart. They say that food is a way to MAN’S heart, but what about us gals!?! Honestly food, farming and anything made of wood, is the way to MY heart. 🙂 I love farming and I absolutely love (wood) wood working.

Nonetheless, these Tofu Fajitas are on point! I have to give it to myself that I was a little bit skeptical about how the taste would come out, but these babies did not fail me! The texture and flavor is perfect!

Of course it’s not going to be as good as Carne Asada, shrimp, or chicken, however it is tofu perfect! I made a Tofu Marinade for these babies, just to make sure their was some flavor with every bite, and the marinade turned out to be great! Vegan/Vegetarian Fajitas

These fajitas, are meant to be versatile! You can have them vegan style or you can have them vegetarian style. Truth be told, I don’t consider myself to be a carnivore, vegetarian or vegan! Total shocker, Right!?!? 🙂 :)However, I do consider myself to live A HEALTHY lifestyle.

In the mean time, while your thinking of making this recipe, please be sure to add your own special touch! You can add fresh fruit, mushrooms, rice, beans and other sides to make this fajita cater to your dinner meal.

Instructions
  1. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a frying pan on medium high heat. When the oil begins to get hot and separate, add the tofu, without the marinade and fry on each side until the tofu is lightly brown. Add the ground cumin and sea salt when the tofu is done cooking.
  2. In another frying pan, add the last tablespoon of olive oil on medium heat and saute the bell peppers, onions, jalapeno peppers until the onions become translucent.
  3. Combine the tofu and pepper/onion saute into one pay. Serve with additional sides and Enjoy!
