Mango Variety

Why just settle for only using 1 variety of  mango in your smoothie bowl? So, Alex decided that she wanted 2 different types of Mango. She picked up Francis Mango and Kent Mango. Truth be told, I didn’t even know that mango had such manly/romantic names!!!! Total mind blower! Ha-Ha….. Nonetheless, their are a ton of varieties of mango. Francis Mango is cultivated all over Haiti, Francis, has a sweet and spicy taste, and is bright bright yellow in color. Yet, on the other hand Kent Mango is widely produced in Mexico, Ecuador and Peru. Kent, is usually dark green with blushed red all over and very juicy.

Smoothie Bowl Toppings

There is an unlimited amount of toppings that you can put in your smoothie bowl! It’ s your bowl so you can honestly decorate it, anyway you like! However, due to some of Alex’s food allergies, we actually have to limit some of her toppings. This picture is the actually the smoothie bowl which I ate. Alex can’t have granola unless I make it. But, she did pick out the dragon fruit, toasted coconuts, chia seeds, chocolate and dried mango. Alex really enjoys the dragon fruit because she doesn’t think that it taste like anything! She said, “Mom, this taste like Blah, but I like it”! HA-HA-HA! The things kids say! 🙂
