What’s In The Marinara

So, I absolutely love adding as many veggies to any meal as I can. The reason why, is because I just love it when my children are licking their fingers and asking for seconds when that meal is simply FULL of veggies!! 🙂 What’s in the marinara, you may ask! Some beautiful carrots, onion, garlic, bell pepper, herbs, and lots of tomatoes! Speaking of veggies, have you ever added kale to a tomato based sauce? If you have let me know, but in the mean time I think I’m going to try it and I will let you know how it turns out! 🙂

Is Marinara Healthy or Not

Although homemade marinara sauce is 10x better than store bought, please be mindful of the sodium content of any sauce! This marinara is both vegetarian and vegan as well as gluten-free and, like all vegan recipes, it is cholesterol-free as well. So, with that being said, don’t get heavy handed with the salt! 🙂
