So, I choose to use spinach in this smoothie bowl for several reason. For instance, spinach is a Super Food!! 🙂 No wonder Popeye was always eating spinach! HA-HA 🙂 This dark leafy green vegetable is loaded with tons of nutrients in a low calorie package. Spinach is also important for your skin and hair, bone health, and provides protein, iron, vitamins and minerals, which is why its the second main ingredient for this Spinach Smoothie Bowl.

Smoothie Bowl Toppings

I think that the toppings is my favorite part of making a smoothie bowl, because there are so many options! For this smoothie bowl, I choose to use chia seeds , steel cut oats, pumpkin seed and coconut chips. These are all the toppings that I had on hand, which is why I used them. However, you can use any toppings you have, like fresh fruit, nuts, avocado, edible flowers, shredded coconut, granola, chocolate and so much more. Simply, put add your favorite toppings on this or any smoothie bowl! 🙂
