No Frosting Chocolate Cupcake

So, I made these cupcakes without frosting on purpose! The glory of enjoying a chocolate cupcake shouldn’t be in the frosting! I know that was a total mind-blowing and bias statement, however these these good ol’ boy cupcakes are delicious 4 other ways, which does not include frosting!

#1 First Way

Plain Jane! That’s right! I said it! Ha-Ha! These scrumptious cupcakes are moist, soft, sweet and hello kitty good with nothing on them! Plus it’s the summer time and the heat waves are rolling in like calories. No need to sweat about these calories because there is no frosting, but this cupcake is neither too sweet nor to dry and unsweetened!

#2 Second Way

Powdered Sugar! By the way, did you know that powdered is just granulated sugar being refined until it turns to powder? Ummm……. I can honestly be the first to say that, I didn’t ! 😉 Nonetheless, powdered sugar just adds a nice balance of sweetens to the other layers of this cupcake and you do not need a whole lot of it. Keep it lite, sweet and simple!

#3 Third Way

More chocolate please! Just a drizzle of melted dark chocolate never hurt anyone! However, don’t you just adore liking those fingers when you’ve got chocolate ozzing down them or do you hate how chocolate melts on you, because your so hot! LOL…. I’m so full of silly jokes right now! Regardless, adding melted chocolate gives you another layer of chocolate madness and it’s lighter than icing.

#4 Fourth Way

Deliciously sweet fruit! Just look at how beautiful those strawberries and cherries compliment these dark chocolate cupcakes! Not only, does it look good in photos but it taste so darn good! Sense I was in a rush to enjoy Dark Chocolate Protein Cupcakes, I ate them fresh and hot out the oven with cold strawberries. What an explosion! It was like the 4TH of July Fireworks with every hot/cold bite. And to top that off, I enjoyed a healthy serving of fruit.
